Artist's Description

This is a drawing from a picture of my grand baby standing in a boat. Her daddy is holding her in the photograph but in this picture I “removed daddy” and put her in the ocean instead of the lake.

About Colette Lee

Colette Lee

I have been an artist at heart my whole life. I started learning to sew at the age of three and turned it into a career as a young adult. I have retired from sewing professionally but I can’t let go of my sewing room! I taught art for about ten years to grade school age children. I finally retired from that and now I do art to please myself. I enjoy oil painting but I really love colored pencils!! I discovered “good” colored pencils about ten years ago but have only really had time to seriously dabble in the last couple of years. I am starting to add to my collection of pencils and I enjoy every minute that I am able to sit and draw. I hope you enjoy my work!
