Clematis metal print by Colette Lee. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
This clematis was blooming in my yard. I took a picture of it specifically to draw. I didn’t notice the bees on the flower until I enlarged the photo to see the detail. I decided to keep the bees.
About Colette Lee
I have been an artist at heart my whole life. I started learning to sew at the age of three and turned it into a career as a young adult. I have retired from sewing professionally but I can’t let go of my sewing room! I taught art for about ten years to grade school age children. I finally retired from that and now I do art to please myself. I enjoy oil painting but I really love colored pencils!! I discovered “good” colored pencils about ten years ago but have only really had time to seriously dabble in the last couple of years. I am starting to add to my collection of pencils and I enjoy every minute that I am able to sit and draw. I hope you enjoy my work!
