Artist's Description

This drawing is something I’ve had in my head for a long time. I will probably redo it someday with some improvements. The tattooed hand represents the sinfulness of all of us and our need for just being able to touch the hem of Jesus’ garment for healing.

About Colette Lee

Colette Lee

I have been an artist at heart my whole life. I started learning to sew at the age of three and turned it into a career as a young adult. I have retired from sewing professionally but I can’t let go of my sewing room! I taught art for about ten years to grade school age children. I finally retired from that and now I do art to please myself. I enjoy oil painting but I really love colored pencils!! I discovered “good” colored pencils about ten years ago but have only really had time to seriously dabble in the last couple of years. I am starting to add to my collection of pencils and I enjoy every minute that I am able to sit and draw. I hope you enjoy my work!
